Just want to let you know about a new podcast that I've been asked to host called The Public Company Series Podcast. It's based on the book, Board Structure and Composition, which is part of the Public Company Series published by the New York Stock Exchange and J.P. Morgan, and sponsored by OnBoard. The first episode of the podcast was released today.
In each episode of this podcast, I'll sit down with the leading experts in the corporate governance field who authored chapters of the book, giving you the opportunity to hear their practical insights to help corporate directors, executives, and governance professionals build boards that are agile, resilient, and prepared for the future. We'll dive deep on traditional subjects related to boards, like leadership succession, committee structure, and self-assessments, and get into some important areas that don't often get explored, like board culture, balancing the board's workload and responsibilities, and the key role that the internal audit function plays in corporate governance. And to get really exotic, we'll tell you everything you ever wanted to know about... board observers!
The homepage for The Public Company Series Podcast is https://publiccompanyseries.com/. There, you'll find links to where you can download the entire Board Structure and Composition book, stream and subscribe to the podcast (audio and video), and learn more about the podcast and book's contributors and sponsors.
It's been fun recording each episode of this podcast. A big reason is because so many of the guests are people I've had the good fortune of working with and the pleasure of getting to know over the course of my career. And I've learned so much from those I'm meeting for the very first time at the recording sessions. So I hope you'll be able to tune in and enjoy The Public Company Series Podcast. If you can, send me your feedback, especially your thoughts on how we can make the podcast even better.
Thanks!
