OK, boomers and hot shots, how did everyone do on the Challenge? Based on voluntary self-reporting (everyone's favorite type of disclosure in Corporate Governance Land!), nobody got perfect score of 40. No one. Not even the heads of major governance organizations, experts in the field known only by their given name, or ESG whizzes who can say "ICCR-IIRC-IRRCi" four times backward after a three-martini lunch. So, don't feel too badly if you were stumped by a lot of these. The highest reported score so far is a 38. If you got anywhere in the 30s, you are in very good company.
Are you ready for more? Here is Part II of the Soundboard Governance Challenge: 40 more acronyms, some of which are used as verbs in Corporate Governance Land. (Seriously, what normal person uses the word "Edgarize"?) Part II is harder and will really test how far your inner governance geek has traveled.
Same rules as before. Untimed, but "closed book." Answers must be exact. No partial credit for "Interfaith Center for Corporate Accountability" when the correct answer is "Interfaith Center on Corporate Accountability"! No witnesses or proof necessary for reporting; you can do it in your head. We're using the honor system. So, whenever you are ready...
